Lagos Contemporary

This in my opinion is the most famous illustration of lagos and i thought it was perfect for our opening image and header. It just says so much about the city- contemporary, fast-paced, beautiful, a huster’s utopia.

Some people may look at this photograph and think “chaos” but I look at it and appreciate the beauty of the city. This illustration represents a lively, multi-faceted and tireless people also known as Lagosians.

P.S: I thought the photo will be incomplete without a random POPO lingering around somewhere. Can u spot the popo?? *rolling eyes*

Nneka's wold cup song- Viva Africa



Ok I've been waiting for a Nigerian Artist to come up with a world cup song. Very unlike Nigerians to take this long. Or maybe I just haven't heard it if there is one.

Anyways this is Nneka's world cup song, Viva Africa. I think its in the same league as Oh Africa by Akon ft Keri Hilson and Waka Waka by Shakira but nothing beats or can even compare to Waving flag obviously. Its a good attempt by Nneka. Give it a listen. What do you think. Competitive or not?

    Actually I take that back Shakira does better Africa world cup than Nneka. Ive just listened to Waka Waka again. Its such happy song
